Glenn Miller - Boog It (Buck Ram - Jack Palmer - Cab Calloway) 30/03/1940

The Above photo was taken by a "fan" 20 days After the recording took place!!
I had a reply from "The Unknown Poster" who says the illuminating things...

"I see Tommy Dorsey, Gene Krupa and Charlie Barnet...plus another man holding a sax standing between Miller and Barnet.

and he or she is quite right too! i had no idea when i posted it as is was just going though masses of miller pics ive collected and did not look at the photo at all i was looking for the date it was taken!!.. anyone know what happened on the 4th of march 1940?

I have another pic of some of these guys (add Woody Herman and Sammy Kaye) breaking Champagne bottles over millers "bandstand" onstage the pic i scanned says 13th Jan 1941 !

Glenn Miller - Boog It (Buck Ram - Jack Palmer - Cab Calloway) 30/03/1940

(haha, The spell checker keeps trying change the name of the song to MOOG it, Hmmm an interesting concept)

But A nice "novelty" Number from Marion Hutton the the boys.

Ive always found the bits when she sings (is that what's its called!!) at the end a bit unnerving!!

Again from a worn out HMV pressing
